Something I hear quite a lot when I tell people that I do skincare is that facials are often thought of as “pampering” or a something that is a splurge. The truth is that facials are one of the absolute best ways that you can care for yourself. Our faces are a worthy investment that when we commit to will be a gift that keeps on giving. When we feel good, life is good. It isn’t about being perfect, it’s about being comfortable in your own skin and taking care of it in a way that rewards you down the road.
Oftentimes, people will seek me, or another esthetician out because they have questions about their skin and are unsure as to the proper way to take care of it. There is a vast amount of information on the internet and a plethora of professionals with strong and differing opinions. It’s a confusing world out there and it can be overwhelming to navigate without a professional.
In my practice, I establish long term relationships as you would with a doctor, therapist, financial advisor, etc. The process of taking care of the skin is a lifelong practice that is essential to self-care and self-love. Together, we establish a collaboration and a plan to keep the skin as healthy as possible. We will accomplish healthy skin in a variety of ways.
- Together, we will go through a series of questions to assess your skin and go over your current skin care routine. We will get an honest assessment of your skin and its overall health.
- This step focuses on the facial. We educate on the importance of the various steps. We support the skin and body through massage, nutrient rich products, specialized treatments, LED light therapy and deep relaxation
- We will discuss your individualized ideal skin care regimen, products to use, when to use them and a follow up protocol.
